Jesus, looking at them, said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God, for all things are possible with God." Mark 10:27 WEB.Have you ever faced a seemingly impossible circumstance, something that looked entirely hopeless? Jesus said that ALL things are possible with God. There is nothing out of reach or that He cannot do, for the Bible is a possibilities book. It contains so many instances of God creating something from nothing. He is a miracle-making God.
We often try to work things out in our minds using our own reasoning and resources. We only see things from our limited point of view. What we can accomplish by using our strength and our abilities. In that light, many things would be impossible for us. We need God's thoughts to become our own, which only happens when we listen to Him.
Do not get discouraged today by what you see around you. Instead, spend a little time with the Lord. Read a few verses from your Bible. Pray and listen for a moment. That is where the impossible becomes possible.
There have been many times in my life when I thought that I had reached a dead end. I felt like He had "Hung me out to dry." Perhaps I had one sin too many, and now they had caught up with me. I was out of options. Then each time, a new door would open up. What we think is the end of the road is usually the beginning of a new one. When we reach the end of our rope, He is there to catch us.
Leave room for God to move in your thoughts and your speech. Stand firm in your faith with, "I don't know how this is going to work out, but God is going to bring me through it!" He can see the end from the beginning. While we can only see the past unless He shares more with us. God can make a way where there seems to be no way. He can make dreams become realities.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for this day and for sending Your word to lift me up. I believe that You will help me, Lord. That this situation will work out for good. No weapon formed against me will prosper. Please help me be strong and to stand firm in my faith today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!Note: For those participating in the Creation Photography weekly themes, here is this week's challenge from group leader, Dianna Wyles: Romans 4:20 "Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God" ~ 'My Eyes Have Seen the Glory' is our next fun theme. Our themes are always open for interpretation so please do get creative! You are also encouraged to post anything else that inspires you as well. My Photos today reflect the many ways I see God's glory through nature, through family, through friends, through strangers and in everyday life. Have a fantastic week y'all, and bask in the grace, truth and glory that is the Father's love ~ God bless! Here is the link:
