The challenge for the month is for all of us to get stronger! Strength training (toning and building muscles through resistance) is an important part of staying healthy and prevent injuries, especially as we get older. Even if you don't have weights at home, you can do strength work with pushups or other exercises using your own body weight. Let's make our health a priority!

I could hear it in his chest and told my daughter. She said oh mom you always worry. I said i'm telling you he has something. The next day daycare called her at work and told her he's sick to come get him. She took him to the doctor he was put on medication. So that's why he's doing better and we all got his cold. :-( less

Today I went outside with the dog walking him around after it was a long night for the dog. He had a seizure last night he's old has sugar and is blind. He still is very fast at getting around. Walking him around the yard I feel like i'm playing soccer ball I have to keep him between my feet and walk him. It's nice to get him out he loves a nice cool day and feels safe when we walk him like that. It really keeps you on your toes. It's a bit of a work out one that is kinda different. lol haha :-) less

Sylvia Todd: Knocked out a kickboxing/barre combo today! One thing, for those like me who don't like sit-ups (they bother my neck), just doing front kicks works for me as a low-impact way to work on ab strength !

Sylvia Todd: One (perhaps obvious) benefit of working on strength is that my cardio workouts become more effective, letting me put more power and endurance into it. Got some kickboxing, treadmill and some strength work in today (squats, lunges, and the like )

It's a plastic ridge vent and my husband told him when plastic heats up it will bend. He said he didn't want it but they said it's good. So that the only thing that went wrong. My husband went this weekend and picked a vent he wanted they bought new vent shingles. They came back to replace all the ridge vents. I know this kids family he just ,lost his dad two weeks ago. They did many roofs of people my husband works. Everyone loved the work they did. I was just taking to the owners brother. His mom and I grew up and played together. His mom wants my phone number to talk to me. So I pray that they will make the wrong right. If not i'll be talking to their mom. lol I'm sure they will everything else is perfect. So new vents are going on now. Pray for us you save many years for up keep and this happen. I believe all will end up well done in the end. Amen <3 less

In my blood it did show an infection that was not as bad. Id I went when I was really bad and anxious it would have showed higher numbers. I could tell I was starting to feel better too. So we came to the lake after and Shirley and I was hiking around outside walking around to different places. I don't know what today will bring yet Shirley wants to walk around to the creek and look for more rocks. We was walking around looking for the markers for property lines yesterday. She keeps me busy and it's good to get me outside and about. :-) less

After just half a cup, I can feel my heart beating, so yes, probably good for a pre-workout, because I will need to get up now and work off the caffeine ! less

Yup, I've heard from multiple sources before that lifting is crucial for maintaining bone density, muscle mass, tone, and even skin tone!! Your body produces hormones that don't only repair healthfully-damaged muscles, but everything else, too, including skin.
