  • I have been folowing your devotionals for quite some time now. God has been speaking to me through many of them the last month or more. I have been thinking of a career change and the devotionals have all been pointing in that direction. I prayed Lord if this is you give me something new. The title of the devotional the next morning was "Something New:! I almost had a heart attack. Think God spoke to me and almost smacked me upside the head with that one. I submitted my resume and cover letter and application and am having an interview this next week. Timie for a change! Please keep this in your prayers that God is moving me in a new direction and I am ready for it. Thanks SO Much!

  • This is so true. In 2013 I lost a job, a home, and my self-esteem. My family, my wife and daughter our little dog and a big cat, had no where to live. I worried about everything. We had a motorhome that everyone told me to get rid of because is was an expense we didn't need - but I refused. Turned out it might have been one of the better decisions I made at the time. I found this devotional series and every morning I was uplifted by the message Pastor Dion gave. Each time I felt like giving up, I was given His word that was exactly pertinent to the situation. Pastor Dion seemed to be talking to me. God impressed one of our church families to give us a place to park the motorhome and we lived in a fruit orchard at tne end of a row of peaches for 22 months. He gave my wife a volunteer position in the church with the food pantry and while she helped feed over 100 families a week in the community, God gave us food to eat as well. When unemployment had run out, and I still had not found a job, He gave me a job working in a cemetary. Not my dream job, but just having a job boosted my spirit. Throughout all of this, I learned the importance of returning to God what is his. Whenever I gave my tithe, as pitiful as it was at times, we received special blessings of food or gasoline or clothing. Things have gotten much better. It was a season of my life that I needed to have - to be humbled - so that I could do what I do now. God knows what I need. I take what I am given with thanks and I have not been in need since. The two things I learned from that experience are humility and the absolute importance of tithing.

  • Your ministry is truly a blessing to me and I can’t thank you enough! I don’t remember when or how I became a part of your “flock”; but I’m for certain it wasn’t by chance. I really just wanted to let you know that I’m glad you chose to follow your calling for ministry and I pray that you will continue to grow in your ministry. I don’t have an actual church home; but I’m so thankful I signed up to receive your daily messages.
