  • For the last 5 years, this devotional has always been on time for me. I so appreciate Pastor Dion for being the vessel! My hope is to one day have a personal conversation with him and how he has changed my life through his devotionals! Thank you GOD for the reminder!

  • I am a regular reader of your articles on Daily Word of Hope. It has encouraged me so much. I am a layman with no theology knowledge who is leading a fellowship. So many times I have used your articles as base for my sermons. I do not have to worry about topic for preaching. Your topic provides me idea and the theme for preaching. Me and our fellowship has been blessed a lot through your en-devour. God bless you and your ministry. Thank you once again, Kalyan, Bhutan.

  • This is so true. In 2013 I lost a job, a home, and my self-esteem. My family, my wife and daughter our little dog and a big cat, had no where to live. I worried about everything. We had a motorhome that everyone told me to get rid of because is was an expense we didn't need - but I refused. Turned out it might have been one of the better decisions I made at the time. I found this devotional series and every morning I was uplifted by the message Pastor Dion gave. Each time I felt like giving up, I was given His word that was exactly pertinent to the situation. Pastor Dion seemed to be talking to me. God impressed one of our church families to give us a place to park the motorhome and we lived in a fruit orchard at tne end of a row of peaches for 22 months. He gave my wife a volunteer position in the church with the food pantry and while she helped feed over 100 families a week in the community, God gave us food to eat as well. When unemployment had run out, and I still had not found a job, He gave me a job working in a cemetary. Not my dream job, but just having a job boosted my spirit. Throughout all of this, I learned the importance of returning to God what is his. Whenever I gave my tithe, as pitiful as it was at times, we received special blessings of food or gasoline or clothing. Things have gotten much better. It was a season of my life that I needed to have - to be humbled - so that I could do what I do now. God knows what I need. I take what I am given with thanks and I have not been in need since. The two things I learned from that experience are humility and the absolute importance of tithing.
