Heavenly Father,
You spoke into the life of Jeremiah. You told him that before he was formed in the womb that You knew him, You called him, and You ordained him. Therefore, we see Your hand in the life of every person who is elected to office. You're not taken by surprise that they have been chosen to represent the people from their state and their community.
We pray that they would realize that they are the servants of those citizens and that they have a responsibility to make certain that the voice of people who are unheard are heard in government places. We pray, Heavenly Father, that they would set aside their agenda and would accomplish what is best for all. We pray, Lord, that they would not be persuaded by any measure of earthly wealth, but that they would realize that their hands are Your instruments and that their feet are the thing that carries truth to Washington and then back to their communities.
Lord, in this nation, we have seen what division can do. We have seen how far apart the left and the right happen to be, so we are asking that You would ordain and anoint this Congress that is going to be elected to work together and to see the good that they can accomplish for their fellow citizens and then have the courage to do it.
Lord, Your Word tells us that faith without works is dead. We are asking today that You would put this Congress to work; and that in faith believing, we would see Your hand prevail and that decisions be made and outcomes be created for the lives of citizens that once again make us one nation under God. In Jesus' name, Amen. less

STEP#4 GOD speaks to us through The HOLY SPIRIT In 5 Ways GOD Uses
1) The Bible
2) Prayer
3) Answered Prayer
4) Circumstances
5) Through The Church. Because there are so many ways GOD speaks to us I won’t try and answer all them at the same time I’ll try my best to detail each one some may be combined others solo Yet each is equally important to us if we are to tap into a direct line with our FATHER.
THE BIBLE
Common Sense would dictate that if there is a GOD HE being sovereign would leave something behind Something HIS creation could find (if searching Seek n You Will Find) this something would have to have things to show it’s from a Superior (Ultimate) Intelligence. It would need to explain Who.HE is What HE excepts Why we would need HIM Where’(s) HE Lives We can/will live HE wants us to live When(s) Historical Reference Prophecy Things To Come Moral Sets of Ethics Rules explaining WHY we are in need of being saved. A Plan to fix the problems caused if HIS creation breaks the rules /LAW HE’S gone further now as HE has incorporated/allows man to be involved in KINGDOM BUILDING along with HIS INTERVENTION and Investment into humanity HIS creation. ALL These Things And So Much More Are Found InThe BIBLE. CONSIDER THIS If You Could Hold GOD Would You. Ummm YES. (John 1:1). So when we pick up the BIBLE we are Embracing GODS Essence n Yet Jesus was not just the. WORD. HE was/is the Fulfillment of the LAW of course it’s not GOD but it’s EVERYTHING a Book would need to be to show us that it was written by 1) Higher Power 2) To HIS Creation 3) For A Purpose. The BIBLE is GODS main way to speak to us. Almost like a beginner book Yet because it’s The LIVING WORD. I can read it again in a year or so and if I’ve applied what I’ve learned it will mean something different to me. RELATIONSHIP = More Application =Closer Relationship A Cycle that if remains will continue to follow as long as we stay connected to The WORD. This will turn into other ways HE speaks to us A Apple a Day Keeps The Dr Away.

#2 Way GOD Speaks To Us. PRAYER
Remembering that all this is done/accomplished through the HOLY SPIRIT Now one would ask how does me praying have anything to do with GOD speaking to me. Isn’t me talking to GOD. Yes n No. How many times has this happened to you? You are praying for things you know to be important then someone or something pops into your head well where did that come from? It wasn’t your thought nor on your list Yet it was on GODS list. When we pray We are having a conversation with our LORD While we are in that place (Throne Room) praying We are literally allowing ourselves to... less

Outside of the Bible which is GODS number one way to communicate with us. We have answered prayer. I could probably conclude this little post right here right now. But I will explain a little bit how answered prayer ties for in with getting to know GOD. When we pray GOD always answers our prayer. He may not answer it the way we want nor does the answer it in the timeframe that we want/desire. The three answers that she gives us are #1 YES. #2 NO #3 Wait
when he gives us a yes it is either by our prayer being answered very quickly. Sometimes these prayers that we pray can be answered within minutes other times it may take a few days. This is why Paul said pray without ceasing. When our prayer is answered in GODS time frame we will immediately know GOD is interested in you/me. He’s got a a lot invested into us. There are also times she answers our prayer and we didn’t even ask. Examples may be we missed the car accident, slip and fall, health issues, ECT. Again when we see these prayers answered without asking we come to recognize/ lung on HIM being there. I don’t know if it’s a good thing or a bad thing. Knowing that he is always there could lead to a place where we take him for granted, or on the other hand does it enhance our relationship whatsoever with GOD. The answer is yes as when our prayers are answered it increases our desire to pray as it increases our FAITH. Without FAITH it is impossible to please god. Without faith there is a very limited relationship one can have with our LORD The second answer he will give us no We don’t always understand why he says no. However we cannot get that mixed up with wait. We must recognize the answer for what it is. I don’t know if I have ever heard GOD say no and then change his mind. The only reason that I could rationalize that he would say no and then turn around and give it to us. It would be because he wants to teach us some thing. When he says no it is for a definite reason. If we happen to be persistent and will not give up on this prayer whatever it may be, he may say yes. This US was only given to us because we will find that GOD definitely had a plan by saying no, he wanted to protect us from something. Usually some kind of crisis. One thing to consider as we pray and we are led by the spirit to pray then we begin to comprehend the bigger plan that God has for us rather than our limited finite thought process. Therefore when he says no we will be at peace with that we will close that chapter and move on. The last answer is a little bit more tricky. He says wait. There are several reasons why he would say wait. The main one is that at this point all of the details are not worked out. Another words you could be praying to get into a type of ministry One would think GOD would say immediately yes. You may totally be ready for the entrance into the harvest field, or KINGDOM BUILDING. However the other end of the equation has not been worked out yet. Once again as we become more familiar with the LORDS ways we would understand that waiting is important. Actually I have found in ministry there is a lot of time waiting around for things to get worked out. Some people take a break and wait for things to happen. Probably not the wisest way to go about preparing yourself to do ministry, others will take this time to pray read your Bible meditate fast in order to prepare... less

Remember the wine glasses can be gotten at the Dollar Tree, and if you want to skip painting the glass, then look for an already colored glass. You can buy paint especially for glass. Take a look on Walmart or in Walmart, or go to the craft store for it. Any way for those who are looking to spruce things up in your kitchen or any where in your home with a fresh image, here is one: 1) This framed image of a piece of Salmon on a dish is from #2) catalog called Vital Choice. It is an all seafood catalog I have gotten for years. One day, while looking through the catalog, I saw this image and just knew I had to frame. So I tore it out of the catalog and fit it into the frame. Now this was a DT frame with something else in it, so I replaced the DT image and recycled the frame. Did you know, if you look on the back of the DT frames, you will see a metal hook, now if the image in the preframe is horizontal you can move that hook to a small pre slit if look on the back, and then, carefully remove the metal hook, and replace it and now your frame becomes vertical. I just discovered this the other day, what an eye opener. Ok, so #3) is a better homes and gardens magazine, this is the November issue. I got a free subscription when I purchased an item from Walmart. These catalogs are not like they used to be. They are very thin, with every other page an advertisement that takes up two - four pages. BUT, there are several pages of lovely images like the one on the front of this catalog. Click on it and take a good look . For those who love purple, this one is for you. There is a whole page on the inside of this image, a great image for a frame, for a gift for the up coming Holiday. It could even be a Hostess gift if you are going some where for Thanksgiving. But what I did, since I liked this image so much, was to take my phone, and snap an image of this and set it as my phone wallpaper. 4) As a side note, if your like us we get paper advertisement images in the mail, sometimes they have full shot images of food items. You could frame those too. There are so many ways to get an image. If you go to your local library, ours used to have a section you could buy magazines for like .25 cents. So if your off to the library this week, take a look and see what and if they have this. A great inexpensive way to get a photo that fits your decor. Now for those who get those miscellaneous catalogs for Christmas, before you toss it, flip through and see if there might be a hidden gem image on one of the pages. You just never know where you will find that treasure image or images. Enjoy! I see your mind hard at work less

“New Hope, Renewed Faith, New Year”
Good Morning Creation Photographers It's good to be back!! Hoping you all had an amazing December Are you gearing up and hopeful for a blessed New Year? I am It’s been a busy December for us as we transition into our new home. We move my daughter and all her things up next weekend so we have this week to finish cleaning up the old place. We are almost in the home stretch YAY!! Let’s be honest… 2020 was quite a journey… Makes one wonder what’s to come…I am making a deliberate choice not to look back in despair at what has been or to live in fear of what could be, but to move forward in a positive light, in hope, in renewed faith in ALL God has promised … I am hopeful as we begin a new year… I am hopeful for our earth, for a solution to our current pandemic, for my health, my home, my work… I am attempting to return to work once again but with reduced hours for a better chance at staying this time (God willing). As I contemplate all the thoughts swirling in my head, it brings a certain kind of peace to me to meditate on the following passages;
Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Isaiah 43:18-19 18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
“New Hope, Renewed Faith, New Year” will be our theme to kick start our New Year into the plethora of blessings God has waiting for us in 2021. How do you bring in the New Year and renew your hope / faith in all God’s goodness and promises? Our themes are always open for interpretation so please do get creative You are also encouraged to post anything else that inspires you My Photos today reflect how I keep my faith / hope strong... by seeking his blessings each day!! I do LOVE those Heart Blessings Our Lord sends to me / us… and the birds… all those beautiful birds God allows me to capture Have a safe and blessed New Year everyone!! No dwelling on the past!!! God is making the way God bless less

Carol Pady → Healthful Living: "Removing the Fear of Death" - Psalm 23:4

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Psalm 23:4
Death is the single common denominator of all men. This fact is illustrated every day in the morning newspaper. The business section of the paper highlights only those who are successful in their vocational endeavors. The social section contains pictures and stories only related to the social elite. The sports section is filled with articles about those teams and individuals who excel in their athletic fields. Then we come to the obituary section. There, listed side by side in alphabetical order, are the rich and the poor, the known and the unknown, the prominent and the not so prominent. We are all equal in death. It is our common denominator.
A lot of voices and volumes today tell us how to live. Motivational and self-help books flood the marketplace. But there is only one book that tells us how to die. And there is no one verse in that Book of books which is more pertinent to the subject than our verse today. Tradition tells us that King David penned these words about the “valley of the shadow” while sitting in the Judean wilderness between Jerusalem and Jericho. The spot is known today as Wadi Kelt. It is a long valley about four and a half miles in length, and its canyons run as much as fifteen hundred feet in depth. The sun casts a shadow over the canyon on the sheep trails across the way, which snake their way up, down, and through the rugged terrain. It was here that David said, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.” This one verse reveals three important facts about the appointment that awaits each and every one of us.
Fact #1: Death is a Sure Thing
Death is sure. It is certain. We deal with death in many ways. Some attempt to flee it. Some go to the extreme of cryonics, freezing their bodies in hopes that future medical breakthroughs can bring them back to life at some later date. Some forget it. They simply reject the idea, assuming it will somehow go away. Others fear it--and they live paralyzed lives with no hope or security in Christ. Then there are those, like David, who face death. These people realize their days are numbered, and that we all have an appointment with death.
Note carefully David’s words: “I walk through the valley.” He walked. He didn’t run toward death. This is King David, not Dr. Kevorkian. He didn’t crawl, as though he wanted to postpone it as long as possible. He was not dragged toward it. He simply walked. He knew death could not be avoided; it is a sure thing.
Fact #2: Death is a Sojourn
David indicated that he walked through the valley. It was not his final destination. It was only a temporary passage, a sojourn. He knew this road was not a dead end with no way out. He knew it was not a cul-de-sac that got him nowhere. For David--and for us--death is simply a sojourn. We do not walk in the valley. We do not stay there. We walk through the valley.
The story is told of a caterpillar crawling along a limb on its belly. Along comes a friend with a philosophical view that says, “Someday I believe we will no longer crawl around like this but we’ll be able to fly and soar and feast on milk and honey.” How idealistic, thought the caterpillar. Then one day came his inevitable appointment with death. So he was buried in a shroud called a cocoon and attached to a twig on a tree. By and by, when spring came, the grave burst open, and out of it emerged a magnificent creature with delicate sails called butterfly wings. With our superior intellect, we know this is the process of metamorphosis. But do we know as much about our own destinies? Death is a sure thing, but it is also only a sojourn. It is not our final destination.
Fact #3: Death is a Shadow
Solomon reminded us in his Proverbs that “every word of God is pure” (30:5). Note carefully what David said: “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.” No believer in Christ ever walks through the valley of death, only the valley of the shadow of death. The Lord Jesus, though, walked through the valley of death. For three days and nights He walked that valley and then emerged from the empty tomb and said, “Behold . . . I have the keys of death and of Hades” (Revelation 1:18 nasb).
Thus, the believer only walks through the valley of the shadow of death. A shadow might horrify you, but it cannot harm you. And the only way you can have a shadow is to have a great light shining. David said he walked “through the valley of the shadow of death” because that is what we do with a shadow; we simply walk through it.
While death is a sure thing, it is only a sojourn through a shadow. It is, in a sense, stepping into the light. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
Is it any wonder David went on in this verse to exclaim, “I will fear no evil”? He knew death would be defeated; that although it was a sure thing, it was but a temporary sojourn through a shadow into the light. David could fear no evil because he knew the Lord was with him: “I will fear no evil; for You are with me!” Up until now in this great 23rd Psalm, David had been speaking in third person: “He makes me . . . He leads me . . . He restores me.” But when it comes to the subject of death, David got very personal. All of a sudden in verse 4, he changed to second person: “You are with me . . . Your rod . . . Your staff . . . You prepare . . . You anoint.” Death has its own way of making Christ more personal.
No wonder we too need fear no evil. Why? Because the Lord is with us, and He has conquered death, hell, and the grave. The apostle John got a glimpse of Jesus’ glory from his lonely island called Patmos where he was exiled. Upon seeing the vision of the exalted Christ, John formed the best description he could with our limited vocabulary and said, “When I saw Him, I fell at his feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, ‘Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death” (Revelation 1:17–18). Yes, “though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me.”
As you memorize this verse, meditate on the fact that, through His own death and resurrection, the Lord Jesus made a way when there was no way for us. We need not fear death. We only walk through the valley of the shadow of death . . . and Jesus is with us!
