“New Hope, Renewed Faith, New Year”
Good Morning Creation Photographers It's good to be back!! Hoping you all had an amazing December Are you gearing up and hopeful for a blessed New Year? I am It’s been a busy December for us as we transition into our new home. We move my daughter and all her things up next weekend so we have this week to finish cleaning up the old place. We are almost in the home stretch YAY!! Let’s be honest… 2020 was quite a journey… Makes one wonder what’s to come…I am making a deliberate choice not to look back in despair at what has been or to live in fear of what could be, but to move forward in a positive light, in hope, in renewed faith in ALL God has promised … I am hopeful as we begin a new year… I am hopeful for our earth, for a solution to our current pandemic, for my health, my home, my work… I am attempting to return to work once again but with reduced hours for a better chance at staying this time (God willing). As I contemplate all the thoughts swirling in my head, it brings a certain kind of peace to me to meditate on the following passages;
Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Isaiah 43:18-19 18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
“New Hope, Renewed Faith, New Year” will be our theme to kick start our New Year into the plethora of blessings God has waiting for us in 2021. How do you bring in the New Year and renew your hope / faith in all God’s goodness and promises? Our themes are always open for interpretation so please do get creative You are also encouraged to post anything else that inspires you My Photos today reflect how I keep my faith / hope strong... by seeking his blessings each day!! I do LOVE those Heart Blessings Our Lord sends to me / us… and the birds… all those beautiful birds God allows me to capture Have a safe and blessed New Year everyone!! No dwelling on the past!!! God is making the way God bless less

“Do not be anxious then, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘With what shall we clothe ourselves?’ For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” (Matthew 6:31–34)
Matthew 6 contains at least seven promises designed by Jesus to help us fight the good fight against unbelief and be free from anxiety. In Parts 1 and 2 we saw Promises 1–4; now we look at 5–7.
PROMISE #5: Do not be anxious then, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “With what shall we clothe ourselves?” For all these things the Gentiles eagerly seek; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things (Matthew 6:31–32).
Do not think that God is ignorant of your needs. He knows all of them. And he is your “heavenly Father.” He does not look on, indifferently, from a distance. He cares. He will act to supply your need when the time is best.
PROMISE #6: But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
If you will give yourself to his cause in the world, rather than fretting about your private material needs, he will make sure that you have all you need to do his will and give him glory.
This is similar to the promise of Romans 8:32, “Will [God] not also with [Christ] freely give us all things?”
PROMISE #7: Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own (Matthew 6:34).
God will see to it that you are not tested in any given day more than you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). He will work for you, so that “as [your] days, so shall [your] strength be” (Deuteronomy 33:25, KJV).
Every day will have no more trouble than you can bear; and every day will have mercies sufficient for that day’s stress (Lamentations 3:22–23).
