John

I read that a woman lost her husband and had no children. Then she married his brother and still had no children, and then each brother after that she still had no children and then she died also. Jesus was asked who will be her husband in heaven for she had been with all the brothers, and Jesus said none. Are we not reunited with our loved ones in heaven? I am nieve I think.

What Pastor Todd said is what my Mama taught me. We will know each other, but there won’t be any mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, etc. I really hope my animals are there though.

As I understand it, you will know each other, recognize each other, and remember what you did together, but there will no marriage in heaven. I thank God there will be no need for a  divorce either. Imagine a situation where the person that you married changed into a different person (free will can do that), but you were bound to them for eternity with no way out. No divorce, and there will be no suicide or murder in heaven either.  Just my thoughts  :)

Luke 20: 34-36 NASB Jesus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage; for they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.
