Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I don't make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time!" When he saw that, he arose ...

But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love toward mankind appeared, not by works of righteousness which we did ourselves, but according to his mercy, he saved us through the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Sa...

Mirror Mirror from Refreshing Hope Ministries on Vimeo. I look in the mirror, and what do I see? Who is that looking back at me? Is it someone faithful and true, or someone wishing they could start new? Today is the day to square up with the one in the mirror. David wrote this song about the Lord...

Yes Jesus Loves Me

  • And from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and washed us from our sins by his blood Revelation 1:5 WEB.

"Jesus loves me. This I know, for the Bible tells me so; Little ones to Him belong. They are weak, but He is strong."

Many of us learned these words when we were kids. They are so simple, but yet today, so forgotten. It is easy to stray from this simple fact that the entire Christian walk is based on and slip into a life of cold legalism.

Leaders who have lost sight of Jesus begin to use religion to control the behavior of the people. The love of Jesus is replaced with keeping a set of rules. Each denomination has its own custom set tailored by them. They begin to teach the traditions of men and focus on things they dislike instead of Jesus Christ.

The truth of the matter: Jesus Christ loves us so much that He shed His own blood to pay for our sins on the cross at Calvary. We simply ask for His forgiveness, change our ways, and try to not do it again.

Sure, you should try and live right, but He will help us. Jesus said that if you love Me, you will keep My commandments (John 14:15). One of His commandments was to love one another (John 13:34). If you do this one right, you will fulfill the rest of them automatically.

Today you may have many problems, but not being loved by Him isn't one of them. Accept the fact that Jesus loves you and that His forgiveness is for you as well as others. Accept Jesus, for we are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me, and yes, I will love others.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, please help me strip away the complex and allow me to see the simple truth of the Gospel. I believe that You love me, and I love You. I want to walk with You hand in hand. Please send the Comforter as You promised and renew my fire today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Note: For those following the Creation Photography weekly challenges, group leader, Dianna Wyles: Hebrews 11:3 'By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible." ~ 'Things That are Visible' or ' Universal Joy'' will be our next fun-inspired theme choices. Step outside and show us your world or anything in the universe that brings you joy. Our themes are always open wide for your creative twist so have some fun. You are also encouraged to post anything else that inspires you as well. Have a wonderful faith-filled week, everyone, God bless! Here is the link: Creation Photographers
