Renew your mind

Colossians: 3:3- For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.
Romans 6:4-We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
Romans 12:2- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
I ride my bike, and I know you've heard this in the past. It is just that when I ride it is so much more than physical exercise. It is is time to hear God speak for me. Some do that in church, in prayer or wherever and whenever. But for me, a big part of it is riding. The reason is, that I don't have time to think when I ride. Things move exponentially faster. Things get focused in on that very second that I take a corner at 20 mph and I don't have time or desire to think about dumb things I said, or what I will have for dinner.
I was finishing up a ride the other day and I was transitioning to a run. The thought of running a 5k after 20 miles of riding seemed daunting and I was hunched over in posture. I could feel a sense of tiredness come upon me, and yet a car pulled out in front of me, and what happened was an internal burst of power and renewal of strength. I caught up to the car and looked at my speedometer and the last I saw it read 29 miles per hour. What the Lord said to me, was "see, you have much more than you think". That is when it hit me. We all have more than we think. It is the battle in our minds and not anything else. We are so focused on what we think that we miss out on what God has for us. We have access to unlimited strength, love, forgiveness, success, prosperity, health, wisdom and so much more. It is is all hidden in Christ Jesus within our own spirit. Our outward bodies are but a shell of who God is inside of us. When we die to ourselves, our lives become hidden in Christ. Our lives are no longer dictated by the outside world. There is however one thing that dictates the direction of that life outside of Jesus, and it is our minds. When we get in agreement with Jesus in our minds, then we have an unlimited supply of whatever it is we need. It is His will that we will understand and discern for our lives, and not what looks good on paper. We limit what Jesus has for us by allowing our old worldly lives, our experiences of a time when it was just our human power running the show. When we get full realization of Jesus in us, His Holy Spirit can and will explode outward to move us into all the blessing in this life. His Kingdom has come in the form of Jesus, and He was never unhealthy, or in lack. He was never lonely, or filled with anxiety. He was never fearful or lost. He overcame this world so that we may experience His great love. One that we cannot comprehend. So when we let go of our own thoughts and abilities and allow Him to take over, there is nothing that can overcome us. We have a new life in Him. Renew your mind and see Jesus working from the inside out. Get out of the way for the Super-natural power of Jesus in us all today!
Father, thank You for Your super-natural power through Jesus working on our behalf. Thank You that Your grace is sufficient for us. Thank You that You always love us so much that You always want us to succeed and bring You glory through our lives. Thank You Lord for Your amazing power in our lives. In Jesus name, amen.
