So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning. He had fourteen thousand sheep, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand female donkeys. He had also seven sons and three daughters. Job 42:12 WEB
Job was a very wealthy man who went through a terrible trial, but when it was over and Job prayed for his friends, all that he had lost was returned double. In chapter one of the book of Job, he owned seven thousand sheep, three thousand camels, five hundred yoke of oxen and five hundred donkeys. In chapter forty, he had exactly twice this amount. Though his first group of children were now with the Lord, he was blessed with seven more sons, and three more beautiful daughters, which doubled the number of his children as well.
You cannot judge a book by reading a single page in the middle of it. During one year of my life, my business burned to the ground during an insurance lapse, my Dad passed away, I went through a divorce, and I had to start my life over with just my clothes. Now the Lord has restored what I lost, with better. I thank God for getting me through the dark times.
No matter what you are going through, God still has the same good plan for you that He had the moment that you were born. When you are restored, it will be better than before. The later part of your life can be better than the beginning. God has seen every tear and He knows the pain that you have been through. Be encouraged because this storm will pass and the Son will shine once again on your life. The end can be better than the beginning.
Prayer: Father, I thank You for taking care of me. Though I do not understand many things, I choose to trust You. I know that You will take care of me and I am so thankful. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray.
Note: Good morning! The highlighted group of the week is the Haven of Hope, a private group and a place of refuge for anyone who is suffering from the effects of abuse. All are invited, but posts can only be seen by group members. If you have suffered from abuse and would like to have the support of others who have been through it, we invite you to join. ALSO, the Creation Photographers fun theme of the week is "Standing Still", based on Psalm 46:10 ("Be Still, and know that I am God")! As always you are free to share as God calls you to.
