Don't seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious. For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things. But seek God's Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you. Luke 12:29-31 WEB.
The Lord once doubled some of our computer equipment here at the office. At the time, we ran a small computer service company on a tight budget. We had an Okidata C5150 color laser printer and two 21-inch Sony Trinitron monitors that we used daily. It was decent equipment for the time.
During our first service call of the day, the office manager there gave us another Okidata C5150 color laser printer, just like the one we had, along with a full set of toner cartridges and another unopened set. They just said they didn't need it and helped us load it into our truck. We felt very blessed, as color laserjets were rare here then, and the toner cartridges were several hundred dollars.
At our next stop, the office there gave us two more 21-inch Sony Trinitron monitors, exactly like the ones we had back at the office. Sylvia and I could now run dual monitors! So in one day, the Lord duplicated our office equipment with the same model numbers from two different places.
When you set your focus on the Lord, He will take care of you. I don't know why He chose to do that for us, but we used that equipment for years and never ran out of toner. Our God is Awesome, and He takes care of His people, even their printers.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I choose to seek You first. Please be with me this day. Follow me wherever I go, and teach me to be sensitive to your presence. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
