Cry out to Jesus

Just a short thought here...

With the Christmas season approaching, it seems we all can be consumed or overwhelmed with getting things done especially with small children, the worry of not having the financial means; Or the overwhelming loss of loved ones. The first thing to remember, you are not alone! Sometimes Jesus seems so far away by not giving us comfort when we feel the worry, loneliness and sadness, as this is when we really need him? I totally understand.  But I promise he is still there, take a step back and think of what you are focusing on? The money, the mourning, the loss...?? That's all we seem look at.

But Jesus is there! You see it's not about the money, the loss hurts I know, but cherish the memories. The memory of our loved ones; we are to cherish their memory, and the loved ones we still have. It's not about the money or the gifts, it's about being together. That's what I remember from my past. The memory of laughter we shared. The Love we shared. I don't even remember one gift I received as a child. I do remember, having the string of the old huge bulbs to hang on the tree with my siblings or the old scratched up plastic Santa Clause that we couldn't wait to take out of the attic and laugh at how bad it was getting and only hoped the bulb hadn't blown out.

Maybe a loved one was taken too early, but you are still here in the living. If you do anything, Live Life to the Fullest in their memory. They deserve that don't they? and I promise you those children will be okay if they don't get that specific gift, make a memory with them and love that moment. Share with them what's it all about, I assure you they will appreciate it later.

May God Bless you during this beautiful season of celebrating our Lord and Savior's birth. Take a chance to make a memory and cherish it always.
