As the tears flowed down my face, I knew they weren't mine. I had a rough upbringing. I could count the people I trusted on one of my hands and still have a couple of fingers left. Yet, as I laid my hands on this hopelessly lost rogue, I could feel the love God had for them. They had stolen so many things in the past and were even now wanted by the police. Yet, I could feel such compassion welling up inside me.
It was just one hard-hearted person praying for another one, but the Lord melted us both. These feelings were not natively mine, for I was abducted by the Holy Spirit. I didn't even want this person in my yard, but God loved this lost soul, and He had sent them to my house to ask for prayer that day. They were in a really bad situation. They looked up to me for some reason, maybe because I had invited them to church a few times.
I didn't like this person, but when they asked me to pray for them, I submitted to the Holy Spirit's guidance. The moment that I touched them, we all started weeping. It was a divine encounter, and I could feel the Lord breaking through years of pain and disappointments. I could literally feel how much God loved this poor soul who was lost, alone, scared, and hurting. The arrest warrants with their name on them didn't affect the love God had for them nor push Him away. Our Heavenly Father understood them when no one else did. I could see that even though society rejected them, Jesus accepted them.
If you are lost, know that the Lord is seeking you today, and He isn't mad. He understands and wants you to come to Him. God loves the lost, and He wants to bring them all into His family. What you have done in the past doesn't matter, for He will wash you as white as snow. If you are standing near them, then you might just become His means to reach them. The Lord will use your hands as His own and your mouth to speak His words. The Holy Spirit is the Ultimate Body Snatcher.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please lead me into divine encounters and conversations. Open the door, and I will step through it. I will be Your hands on this earth. Here I am, Lord. Use me. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Wow! that’s a pretty courageous prayer to pray. I’m almost afraid to pray that prayer because I tend to think what God would have me to do or say would be nothing like me or even adequate to know the right thing what’s more is something I wouldn’t enjoy, and I realize that that is a lie from the devil doing God‘s work is the ultimate true joy I’m doing God‘s work is not loathsome how I got that idea ever into my head I do not know, but I’ve gotta stop believing the lie ask God‘s forgiveness and hold every thought captive obedient Christ sometimes I feel overwhelmed taking on the Lord‘s work I’m not much of a speaker, but I do like to play songs of the Lord to minister to people that I do enjoy I hope God does that for me.

It has been my experience Julia. That when trying to spread the word of the Lord or talking to someone who just needs someone to talk to them. That the words just start flowing. I feel the closer that you get to God. The easier it is. I pray that the Lord gives you the courage that you need when you need it the most❤️
Thus devotional hit home. I am a drug counselor and have had this type of experiences. I to can feel the Lord and His Holy Spirit work within me at times. There's no better feeling. Sometimes when I talk I look back at the conversation and it doesn't even sound like something I would say to these loss souls. I am really sure God is using me to speak to them. Anyway thank you Lord for putting me places that I can reach people down on their luck. Thanks for giving me the courage,strength,and knowledge to help others. Just like You have helped me. Amen ❤️
