Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the form of his appearance was changed against ccc. He spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. He commanded certain mighty men who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. Then these men were bound in their pants, their tunics, and their mantles, and their other clothes, and were cast into the middle of the burning fiery furnace. Daniel 3:19–21 WEB.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were bound and pushed to the edge of the roaring furnace. King Nebuchadnezzar had decreed that they were to be incinerated because they refused to bow to his new nine-story idol of gold when the music played.
They refused to compromise and told King Nebuchadnezzar that their God was able to deliver them. Yet, even if He didn't, they wouldn't bow down to his new idol. It made the king furious, and he had the furnace heated seven times hotter.
The heat coming up from the inferno was so intense that it killed the soldiers around them. Then the three Hebrews fell through the flames into the roaring fire below. This fate had befallen them simply because they refused to break the Lord's commandment:
You shall not make for yourselves an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God... Exodus 20:4-5 WEB.
I am sure it was scary as they looked down into that blazing furnace. It was certain death. Yet, they landed safely at the bottom, for they found they were not alone. There was a fourth Person in the furnace with them, the Lord Jesus Christ. When they came out of the fire, the ropes binding them had burned away, but they were unharmed. Their clothes didn't even smell like smoke—a nice touch.
You are going to make it. Though it looks as scary as hell itself, you are going to make it. Don't waver in your faith, and don't compromise. When you get to the bottom, you will find that you are not alone, and only the things holding you back will be burned away.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I know that you are with me and that no weapon formed against me will prosper. I submit to Your will for my life, and I know You will bring me through this. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

On Scott Riegelmann - I was able to get an update from Cristy Herzberg, who lives near him. Scott is in hospice and on morphine for the extreme pain he has been in. The hospice nurse said she did not think he had long left. Please lift up him up for a peaceful transition and comfort for his sons and loved ones 🙏

Just an odd question but where ate you from Pastor. Is there a hime church plus this online? I wanna know the story so when i tell people how much a blessing you are i have the facts. Thank you for your dedication to us in the cyber world struggling. I learn something new and encouraging every day. God bless you and your family. Im still fighting for mine

Hi, Billy. Sylvia and are in coastal South Carolina. We run all this from our home. We used to have a group that met here each week but since COVID, we have focused fully on connecting and teaching His people online. Many of the Lord's people have fallen through the cracks. Many are not able to attend a church or do not have one. Yet, we have members that are able to attend the live services from a hospital bed. I think it is beautiful what the Lord is doing, and it is for such a time as this. One day, when and if He allows us, we will have a larger dedicated space but we are doing pretty fine as we are. 🙏😀 There is more in the "About us" page on the menu. God bless!

Amen and Amen! 🙏 Oh, to see the power of GOD himself, for they, I'm sure didn't just feel the Lord's presence, but were allowed to see HIM right there, with them!! Thank YOU Lord for the holy scriptures, Your holy word, to let us know that You are with us, even though unseen, and yet we get to feel Your presence, Your peace in our hearts!!! But then there are also times of silence in between, as we carry on trusting, believing and waiting on You, and then eventually while looking back we can see that YOU have been there all along!!! And, in the end, which marks a NEW beginning for us, we can say or sing: "Through it all, through it all, I have learned to trust in Jesus, I have learned to trust in God . . ."🎶🙏

Prayers for my brother in Christ, Scott, be lifted to heaven. Father, if it is time for Scott to go home, please take away his pain, give him comfort and let him feel Your presence with the beautiful peace only You can give. As I am praying for mine and brother's diagnoses of cancer, I lift up Scott Riegelmann, even though I don't know his diagnosis, to the LORD. Take away his pain, God. I ask for you to give peace and comfort to his sons and loved ones. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen
