God owns the entire universe, above, below, both seen and unseen. Some people think that the devil will own hell and rule there. Not so. The devil will be imprisoned there just like anyone else who rejects Jesus Christ. In fact, he was the primary reason it was built, and he will just be another inmate.
God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. The money in our pocket came from Him, as well as the shirt on our back. So what can we give God that He doesn't already have? Thanksgiving and praise from our hearts. A thankful heart goes a long, long way with the Lord.
So simple in theory yet so difficult in practice. Stump your toe, or smack your thumb with a hammer, and see what tries to come out of you. "God, thank you for not letting me break it" would be a good response. Yet, sometimes I do something else.
Be thankful for what God has already given you. If you're reading this, then evidently, you are still breathing. So be grateful for that. Tell God, "Thank You for what you have already done for me!" Praise is right along those lines as well, "God, You are AWESOME! I could have never done that without You!" That is the gift that God doesn't have.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You today for all that You have blessed me with. You've been so good to me, and I appreciate it. Please draw me to You, teach me about You, and make me steadfast today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

I have been guilty of not saying the right thing. I have many conversations with God all day. I say prayers throughout the day. But I don’t think I praise Him enough for all He does for me. Thank you for this Pastor. I needed the reminder.

Amen and Amen!!! Thank You Lord for everything that You have done for plain old and insignificant me!!! I'm so comforted and reassured when I read Your holy word realizing how precious we all are in Your sight, so precious that You took it upon yourself to leave Your heavenly throne to suffer and die for us, so that we could live with YOU forever, and as YOU rose again conquering death and sin once and for all, we too shall live!!! Heavenly Father, thank you for Your unending love and all that You have done through these some +80 years of my life. I am just so grateful that even in these late years of my life You still are showing me the right path to walk and You make me feel so special. I thank you Heavenly Father for your faithfulness and love. I sometimes forget of all the essentials you provide me with to stay alive while on this earth and I pray you can hear my heart when words cannot form the words I truly want to say.
Father God thank you for all your blessings. Whatever your will is for my life i accept it. Help me see it or hear it from you. I ask you to restore my marriage and my wifes love if this is the path you have me on. If not then i trust you know what’s best for me even though im struggling with it.
