When the manager tossed the cable on the desk, I started laughing. I could hardly believe it. I have always been drawn to technical things like a moth to a bug light, and I like tinkering with them.
This time, I wanted to hook my computer up to a television, and I needed a DVI to HDMI converter cable. They are common today, but in 2004, they were nearly unheard of. I searched the Internet and found one for about forty dollars, but something told me to wait. So, I didn't buy the cable that morning.
We owned a small computer business at the time, and our first client of the day was an insurance company. We walked into the manager's office and discussed the issues they were having with their computer network.
While we were talking, the manager reached into his desk drawer, pulled out a package, and tossed an unopened DVI to HDMI cable on the desk. He said, "I don't know why I bought this, but I don't need it. Maybe you can use it for something?" I started laughing and thought, "God, You are so good to me."
Some would say that isn't scriptural, and HDMI isn't in the bible, but it doesn't matter. The scripture above says that He will give you the desires of your heart. Like the blind man said, "I don't know how it happened. I was blind, but now I see." I needed a cable and didn't have one, but now I do.
So, delight yourself in the Lord. Put Him first in your life, and He will take care of you. God cares about the little things, not just the big decisions. He wants to be intimately involved in your daily life. I know this fact: He is so good to me.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please draw my heart to You like never before. Give me the grace to live a life pleasing to You, and walk with me each day. I want more of your presence in my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

I am still in the hospital. Been here six days please keep praying for me. There are problems with balancing oxygen and CO2 and there was ammonia in my liver, so please pray that I can go home without oxygen or CO2 devices and a clear stability of health please thank you.
