Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness for forty days, being tempted by the devil. He ate nothing in those days. Afterward, when they were completed, he was hungry. Luke 4:1-2 WEB.
In music, harmony is one of the most beautiful sounds. There is nothing like it when a band has worked hard to blend the backing vocals and some instruments into one great full sound. All the background parts coming together make the one in front really shine. The typical person listening would think the lead singer is just amazing. Yet, they wouldn't be what they are without the supporting singers behind them.
Today, Jesus is in heaven, and it is the invisible Holy Spirit who remains here with us on the Earth (John 14:16). Jesus went up, and the Holy Spirit came down (John 16:7). The prophets of old were led by the Holy Spirit (Psalms 51:11). Jesus was led by the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:1). The apostles were led by the Spirit (Acts 10:19). The children of God are guided by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:14).
The Holy Spirit works with us and through us today. When we are willing to be led by Him, He makes us sound great. People begin to think we are so smart and we really shine. Yet, He is the invisible force behind us, the supporting singer in the background. He is our inspiration helping us be in the right place, at the right time, with the right words to say. He will teach us all things if we listen (John 14:26).
Even though He is with us, we have to work with Him. We are His hands and feet on Earth. When He opens a door, we have to step through it. When He prompts us to give something to someone, we actually have to give it and not just mean to. When we feel that we should encourage someone, we should do so. It's not the thought that counts, but obedience. Meaning to do something for years just means you haven't done it yet.
"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). That Greek "word" is "Rhema," meaning "an utterance." The spoken word of God. A good example of a Rhema word is in Acts 10:19: "While Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, "Behold, three men seek you." That is what we listen for and live by.
It requires working together, day after day, hand in hand, one situation after another. We work with the Holy Spirit to accomplish God's plans and purposes on Earth. Who will tell Bob about Jesus? It may be you. So be sensitive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and work in harmony with Him. There is no greater calling, and in the process, He will make you shine and cause you to reach your fullest potential on the Earth.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, please fill me with the Holy Spirit afresh, and teach me to be sensitive to Your presence. Guide me today and use me. Reveal the gifts You have placed in my life and train me to use them to their fullest potential. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!

Good Morning to you all too! Yes, have a superbly blessed Saturday too! 🤟🏻
I am still up after having a trying day at work. Reading the Devotionals make me happy. I can relate to them and it's positive messages to look forward to. I got so caught up trying to get things done that I have not read the Devotional Readings in a while. I was on my phone and Harmony popped up in my email. I have a daughter named Harmony and It makes me happy to talk to her. I enjoyed the Devotional it took my mind off of some of the complications that I have been facing. But one thing is I don't know what my purpose is on this earth yet but I would like to know. So the next time I pray I will ask the Lord what my purpose is on Earth. I always wanted to know my purpose.

I pray that you find understanding and clarity Madalyn ❤️🙏
Heavenly Father, Thank you for always being with me. Forgive me for missing all the opportunities to have planted a seed. Give me the strenght and courage to follow through when You've asked me to walk through a door. I want so to be like Jesus and have my light shine. In Jesus precious name, I pray. Amen!🙏🕊️
