Yahweh appeared of old to me, saying, Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you. Jeremiah 31:3 WEB.
So many times in my life, I've stumbled in some way. Then I began to feel that I had let God down, failed Him, and should just give up. I felt like He was disappointed in me anyway. I would sulk and walk away like a puppy with his tail between his legs. Sometimes a month would go by before I even spoke to Him again.
When I finally came to my senses, saw the light, and had an "I was blind, but now I see" moment, He was always there waiting with open arms. Just as the prodigal son that came to his senses and went back home to his father. So was I, and so was He. When I changed my attitude and accepted that the past was unchangeable, He was ready to get back to work. It was always an "OK, now let's go" conversation.
A failure is a past event, not one of His children. The Lord isn't concerned about our past. He is concerned with what's left of our future and making every moment of it count. We are here for only a brief moment in time. If we really understood that, most of us would live it differently. We try and build things here that will last forever when everything around us is only temporary.
The Lord draws us to Himself with lovingkindness, and His love for us is everlasting. Nothing you can do or have done will change His love for you. On the other hand, can you discipline a child and still love them? Absolutely. Jesus said: "Those whom I love, I reprove and discipline, so be zealous and repent." (Revelation 3:19). Paul wrote that God's kindness is intended to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4).
Our past life may have some dark spots, but He will never turn away from us. He will always love us, and when we ask, He will gladly forgive us and restore us. His love is everlasting. He has a plan and a purpose for your life. You were put here for such a time as this, so let's make it count.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your everlasting love. Thank You for accepting me just as I am and washing me as white as snow. Cleanse me, use me, and guide me today. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen!
Note: For those interested, we will be hosting our Wednesday morning prayer service at the usual time of 10:30am EST! This is a short service, about 15-20 minutes, where we pray together for any needs you would like to share. Hope to see y'all there! As always, if you have a prayer need, we are here for you! We and the prayer team are ready to lift you up at our private prayer page: RHM Prayer Network.
Good morning RHM family. And good morning, Pastor Dion. I just wanted to tell you again how much these daily messages mean to me and how much I look forward to them in my email everyday.

Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for your love, kindness, compassion, understanding, and faithfulness as I am your child and have many many faults. But you ALWAYS forgive me and I thank You Father for sending Your most precious Son Jesus to rescue me for I am a sinner and without Jesus, I am a lost soul. Jesus is the way, truth and light who shines so brightly in ALL of our lives and as we near Easter, let us not forget that Jesus is the only way to the Father. Thank you Jesus for being my very best friend! In you most precious name I pray, Amen 🙏❤️🙏!!
Thank you. I like to print the prayers and put them on my computer. Lighter colors help. Your message today was perfect for me after a struggling day. God was at work on me and the enemy tried to block His message but as always GOD WINS!
Thank you for you gift of sharing a message that relatable and easy to understand.
